RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Allen, TX that is looking for a Senior .NET/Core Software Engineer to be a leader on a software forward organization for a remote position.
Summary:The .NET/Core Software Engineer will join a dynamic, agile software delivery team that provides an enterprise-level integration platform and contributes to a mission-critical set of applications. The ideal candidate will need to be a technology leader who can take defined requirements and deliver a solution through acceptance while collaborating with all software delivery disciplines on the team. There would be opportunity to mentor junior developers as product builds take shape and a chance to help us stretch our technical horizons as we refine best practices and incorporate new technology. This position can be based to work out of any of the 60+ client office or remote from any US location. Travel up to 5% for team meetings is required.Key Tasks: .NET/Core Software Engineer completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production, both at an individual and team level As a .NET/Core Software Engineer, you will collaboratively work with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects Performs release validation testing and beta support for projects Researches problems and develops solutions to the problems Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers May contribute to product architectureREQUIREMENTS: Must have 6 years of experience with Microsoft .NET/C# development Must have 2 years of experience with web services (e.g., SOAP, XML, REST, and/or JSON) Must have 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases Experience with .NET Core Must have experience with a version control system such as TFS source control or GITNice to have: Experience in Agile SDLC environments Experience implementing, supporting, or architecting Identity Management solutions using OpenID Connect/Auth 2.0.
