Description Company in Argyle has a contract or contract-to-hire for ControllerThis is a contract or contract-to-hire position.The Controller is responsible for preparing and developing financial reports. The Controller’s responsibilities also include accuracy of all financial reports, tax compliance and filings, monitoring and developing internal controls, participating in the budgeting process, and analyzing financial data to varying degrees.Responsibilities Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting and cost accounting Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records for CFO Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals. Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies Provide a visionary and leadership implementation role on behalf of Finance to all departments, creating a well-respected and sought after department goal This is a contract or contract-to-hire Controller.Send resume to vincent.zamaripa@rhmr com. and fort.worth@roberthalfmr comRequirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance is preferred

A minimum 10+ years accounting experience with approximately 3-5 years in the construction industry required (manufacturing experience a plus)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highest level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast changing and evolving service line

Must be a self-starter, responsible for all facets of accounting.
