Responsible for daily team operations including team training, data reporting, updating policies and procedures, and quality assurance monitoring. Assists the Associate Chair of Clinical Education in ongoing maintenance, training, and development of clinical placement software system. Support the clinical coordination team members, program directors, lead teachers, and clinical site personnel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the execution of clinical placements for students enrolled in clinical coursework.

Serves as lead resource for clinical coordinators and a liaison between coordinators, faculty, students, and administrators.

Recommends and implements process improvement.

Maintains and regularly updates the clinical coordination team handbook and all applicable policies and procedures.

Regularly updates pathway to graduation documents and other academic related documents in consultation with the program directors.

Performs weekly quality assurance monitoring on all members of the clinical coordination team and make recommendations for improvement.

Develops and updates training materials.

Trains and mentors new and current clinical coordinators.

Prepare and submit reports to administrators and state boards of nursing.

Maintains database of site-specific clearance, orientation, and affiliation agreement terms. Dialogues with sites when questions arise.

Assists with ongoing changes and updates to software configurations and trainings.

Participates in selection of software and systems needed for the clinical coordination process.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of administrative experience and 1 year of placement of students for academic coursework and/or equivalent relevant experience.

Customer service experience.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.

Experience leading a team.

Knowledge of healthcare systems is beneficial.

Experience in higher education.
