Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Manager Clinical Documentation Management Program (CDMP)Salary range is Min. $79,560/year to Max. $116,708/year – based on relevant experienceLocation: Arlington, TXWork Schedule Full time, day shiftJob DescriptionAccountability for CDI success by providing necessary feedback and education to CDI staff and evaluating them on an ongoing basis.Provide oversight and act as a resource for assigned teams and able to travel to other facilities in the system. Coordinate, compile, and share data reflecting the activity associated with the program.Day to day oversight of the program by formulating action plans based on results. Must fully understand data collection and analysis for hospitals and physicians profiling.Facilitate hiring/mentoring/retention of CDI staff by providing necessary feedback and conflict resolution. Perform regular staff evaluations and support ongoing communication and education on documentation opportunities, coding and reimbursement issues, as well as performance improvement methodologies to CDS staff.Management of the system process flow map by making sure that the process flow map is followed at all the facilities so the program's success can be measured uniformly.Responsible for raising Case Mix Index (CMI) by educating and supporting documentation strategies and communicating differences between Medicare Part A guidelines and how they impact DRG assignment.Provide CDI teams, physicians, administration and Steering Committee ongoing feedback by creating and presenting monthly reports using the given software for maintaining active support for this program. Responsible for increasing program awareness (team members, CDI process, program benefits).QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree Nursing is requiredExperience5 years clinical documentation experience and 2 years management experience is required.
