Job Description:This position supports all aspects of the patient and family experience measurement process, ensures data integrity and meaningful reporting as well as interpretation and presentation of data. Responsible for the management of channel specific patient experience survey administration, data analysis, reporting, and on-going public transparency project. This position creates and disseminates individual unit, provider, practice, entity, and system level consumer experience reports in addition to working with third party vendors.Essential Functions:

Provides technical and analytic support to internal stakeholders with respect to the patient satisfaction and experience survey process.

Proactively identifies patient satisfaction trends and report findings to leadership. Prepares timely and accurate communication of patient experience and satisfaction survey results in digital form based upon internal stakeholder needs and recommends visualizations based on expertise.

Responsible for producing assigned deliverables within specified time-frames.

Designs process and methodologies in preparation of timely communication of patient experience, satisfaction, and other survey results.

Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports in digital form to include ad-hoc and complex reports to support clinical and operational performance improvement.

Manages the compilation of data from multiple, disparate sources for custom reporting and contributes significantly to special projects to drive both clinical and operational efficiencies.

Educates internal stakeholders on appropriate use of data, interpretation, and the use of applications and tools. Provides guidance on reports and recommends best options based upon advanced knowledge of patient experience measurement.

Guides internal stakeholders to the best data upon which to make relevant decisions, including historical and projected trends.

Complies with THR information security and PHI privacy policies. Stays abreast of patient experience and satisfaction industry trends.

Manages the operational duties and relationships related to the administration of our internal and external transparency and key leadership analytic projects. This includes communication with providers as well as vendors.

Evaluates patient comments within channel specific prescribed guidelines for inclusion or exclusion in transparency project.

Manages the channel specific process for comment appeals, and will when required collaborate with leaders from operations, compliance, human resources, legal, and other relevant departments.

Compiles analysis of qualitative data to be shared with leadership for improvement opportunities.

Manages the setup and termination of internal users with survey vendor. Analyzes internal and vendor reports to establish adequate sampling and timely surveying.

Communicates regularly with vendor and internal stakeholders to monitor systems for sampling frame selection and data transmission.

Designs and conducts various types of internal auditing to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory and operational guidelines as well as data integrity.

Maintains vendor software user accounts – grants and terminates user access to accounts as needed and maintains monthly user utilization statistics.

Checks daily confirmations from vendor to ensure successful data transmission and compliance with federal regulations. Provides assistance in various types of internal auditing to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory and operational guidelines.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Health Administration, Business or related field required and

Master’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Health Administration, Business or related field preferred

5 years related experience in data management and analysis in a large, complex environment with a Bachelor’s Degree required

3 years related experience in data management and analysis in a large, complex environment with a Master’s Degree required

Working in healthcare related field preferred

Patient experience, Tableau, Alteryx, and Cross Metrix experience a plus

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent analytical, program management and independent problem-solving skills.

Highly proficient with spreadsheet and database management.

Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, physicians, and outside organizations.

Excellence organizational skills.

Expertise in patient experience/patient satisfaction surveys with the ability to create, analyze, read and interpret reports.

Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.

Ability to provide data analysis and interpretation for actionable insights.

Experience in the use of statistical analysis software.

Strong project management, public speaking, problem identification and resolution skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required to work with a diverse group of people.

Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau. Knowledge: Statistical analysis, survey methodology and design, and familiarity with patient experience improvement methods.
