Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital seeks to hire a Radiology Attendant to work full time.The address is 800 West Randol Mill Road Arlington, TX 76012Salary range is Min. $11.00/hr to Max. $16.45/hr – based on relevant experienceWork schedule is part time 24 hours - Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Shift time may vary and must be flexible as needed.Patient Care
Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actions
Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions
Greets and escorts patient, using two forms of ID and assists with time-out procedures
Handles patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices, and assists with patient monitoring
Demonstrates knowledge of the location and purpose of equipment
Uses proper body mechanics when assisting patient
Monitors patients waiting time and communicates with modality team leaders and patients Signs patient in and out of nursing units and bring patient's chart during transport 60%
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
Operates, cares for and cleans ancillary equipment
Documents ancillary equipment malfunction
Cleans equipment and room to sanitary standards
Assists with daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checklist 35%
Professional Accountability and Partnership
Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancement
Attends departmental continuing education, meetings, and checks email
Identifies, troubleshoots and initiates quality improvement
Manages time and reprioritizes as necessary
Displays proper phone etiquette
Performs any assignment deemed necessary by supervisor
Reports free time to supervisor.
