Texas Health Resource is seeking to hire a Registered Nurse Transfer Center for our Patients Logistics department.The address is 612 E Lamar Blvd Suite 200, Arlington, Texas 76011Salary range is $25.00/hour – Max $50.40/hour – based on relevant experience.Work Schedule Full Time – 36 hours - Day shift, weekends and Holidays, 7am-7pmAs a Nurse Transfer you will coordinate and facilitate patient transfers from other health care facilities to THR following the Transfer Center's process Flow: Collects clinical information to determine patient's level of care. Collaborates with THR on-call physicians to arrange acceptance. Determines if purchase services/reciprocal transfer agreement, payment guarantee, or any other financial agreements are necessary. Transfer Center Data Collection. Collection of specific data points as noted in the 2017 data collection process. Maintain knowledge base regarding ever evolving changes at each facility. Actively seek out changes and updates regarding the transfer process throughout the system. Maintain physician modes of contact. Maintain knowledge base of services provided by each entity.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications : Associate's Degree Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred. 5 years general nursing experience required. Critical care and/or emergency experience preferred. RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required.Skills Demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving skills. Proficient in use of computers. Outstanding verbal, non verbal and written communication skills. Must possess a positive caring and calm attitude. Must have time management skills.
