The Treasury Operations Commercial Lending Analyst is responsible for performing day to day treasury operations for the Commercial Lending portfolio. This includes payment posting, adjustments, and This team member is also responsible for analysis of complex loan and payment transactions and researching operational issues to assist management.JOB DUTIES
Conduct thorough research on complex loan and payment transactions and/or requests received to recognize, confirm, and address critical information that may be misrepresented on system of records
Maintain an understanding of applicable products, business systems and industry requirements
Resolve daily operational issues
Perform daily functions of the department including preparing reports and reconciliations
Maintain the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records
Analyze basic financial information, including trends and forecasts
Assist with developing policy and procedures for the department
Act as liaison for the department with banks, auditors, vendors and other departments
Keep abreast of current trends in the market and developments in the profession
Perform other duties as assigned
Conform with all company policies and procedures
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of corporate banking
Basic knowledge of credit and debit processing in finance or banking environment
Exposure to consumer lending, commercial lending, leasing, or corporate banking
Working knowledge of the accounts receivable process
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of financial analysis and cash management
Skills
Ability to use good judgment in making decisions independently relating to daily bank activities
Ability to work with all levels of management through daily interface and formal presentation
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, providing options, and recommendations relating to resolving issues
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Mathematical ability to calculate payments and reconcile payment postings
Proven ability to operate in the banking/corporate environment
Ability to multi-task
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Possess time management skills
Advanced query skills
Education
Bachelor’s Degree Finance/Accounting, related field or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience
2-3 years in Commercial or Consumer lending or a related field required
Working Conditions
Normal office environment
Strong focus on providing quality service to internal and external customers
Work additional hours based on production demands requiring mandatory overtime
Subject to daily service level requirements
Must be able to deal with stressful office conditions while troubleshooting problems
