- Support of computational systems architecture and system software for real-time simulation applications
- Support functional requirements implementation for computer software. Create new and modified simulation models using established modeling techniques
- Design, develop, code, document, test and debug simulation software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
- Apply software engineering principles to complete assigned tasks and schedule commitments
- Complete work with a reasonable amount of direction
- Must possess the ability to work within and positively contribute to a team environment
- Ability to apply sound engineering principles and develop innovative solutions
- Participate in design reviews
- Prepare, check and coordinate release of support documentation to appropriate program and company standards
- Communicate status and issues along with solutions and recommendations to lead engineers
- BS Computer Science or equivalent required
- C/C required
- UNIX/LINUX experience required
- FORTRAN, Ada and other programming language experience a plus
- ClearCase experience a plus
- 8+ years software engineering experience desired
- Must have good presentation skills
- Active Security clearance required, with the ability to obtain Special Access program clearance.
