At GMF our Cybersecurity organization is a global team consisting of architecture, engineering, operations, governance, and risk functions under the Chief Information Security Officer reporting directly to the CEO.

The Cybersecurity Associate Analyst (Governance, Training, and Awareness) is responsible for providing oversight, support, and guidance for GMF Cybersecurity initiatives and internal projects. This includes strategic planning, identifying process improvements, driving efficiencies, and facilitating global communications and educational initiatives to enhance organizational cybersecurity knowledge.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

  • Engage with GMF Cybersecurity teams to identify, prioritize, plan, and execute Cybersecurity initiatives and internal projects
  • Collaborate with business partners to manage Cybersecurity needs
  • Track, monitor, and report on key cybersecurity initiatives, milestones, deliverables, resources, remediation items, and/or findings through completion
  • Develop and deliver a Cybersecurity education and training program for employees, contractors, and other authorized users
  • Facilitate the creation, review, and delivery of Cybersecurity communications
  • Initiate, facilitate, and promote Cybersecurity activities to create Cybersecurity awareness within the organization
  • Develops, distributes, and monitors periodic anti-phishing campaigns
  • Monitor adherence to Cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls
  • Prepare reporting for various aspects of the Cybersecurity program
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Must have a high level understanding of financial services industry, security, risk and privacy
  • Must have current knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest Cybersecurity legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities
  • Must have knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity frameworks
  • Proficiency with MS-Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project
  • Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and industry practices
  • Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and concepts
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile development process

  • Ability to initiate, facilitate and promote Cybersecurity within the organization and monitor adherence to Cybersecurity policies, standards and controls
  • Ability to clearly explain and articulate technical concepts using non-technical language

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred

Experience

  • 0-2 years of demonstrable experience leading collaborative programs and projects with senior level management required
  • 0-2 years of experience in large and complex business environments with a successful track record working directly with senior level management with working knowledge in one or more of the following domains: Access Control, Telecom and Network Security, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, Software Development Security, Cryptography, Security Architecture and Design, Operational Security, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, Legal Regulations, Investigations and Compliance, Physical (Environmental) Security, IT or Security Audit, IT or Security Compliance preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred

Licenses

  • Information Security Certifications strongly preferred

Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment
  • Subject to stressful situations and requires many hours per day working on a computer workstation
  • Limited travel may be required to support business needs, including international travel
