Overview
The Integration Developer will work on projects to integrate Complex business applications. The Integration Developer will develop workflows to transport, transform, and apply business rules to source data and then distribute the data to destinations systems. General development experience is a must. Responsibilities JOB DUTIES- Create batch and dynamic workflows between source and destination systems
- Transform incoming data into meaningful destination values
- Perform and apply business rules and take appropriate actions
- Enhance existing systems
- Maintain knowledge of current systems and hardware
- Provide support and maintenance of existing systems during business hours, and after hours, on a rotating basis
- Design and Develop technical solutions that meet business requirements
- Develop technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for complex designs for new systems or system enhancements
- Perform problem analysis, debugging and coding as part of new development
- Coordinate with other team members to work on solutions and on design/code reviews
- Communicate with managers and business partners on business systems and project statuses
- Scope projects and provide estimates
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Conform with all company policies and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of business processes for supported business groups
- Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices
- Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
- Knowledge of GM Financial's core business functions
- Working knowledge of the consumer loan business
- Working knowledge of all system applications
- Working knowledge of the Corporate Business solution environment
- Significant experience in a large and complex business environment
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (eg, ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC, etc)
- Advanced knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
- Advanced working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups
- Working knowledge of SDLC Standards and best practices
- Exposure to BusinessWorks, BizTalk, Provenir or similar EAI tool
- Knowledge of the following: SQL or T-SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views), Team Foundation Server, XML and XSLT, JSON, SOAP Web Services, REST Web Services, GIT, Design Patterns, SOA, Microservices, RDBMS
- Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines required
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
- Strong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to create system and user specifications and documentation
- Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
- Must be a self-starter and able to manage the investigations function with minimal supervision
- Advance experience with data visualization concepts and tools
- Advanced computer skills and conversance in information technology issues
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience required
- 3-5 years of programming experience preferred
- 0-2 years Tibco Business Works or Microsfot Biztalk preferred
- 0-2 years Source control using Git preferred
- 0-2 years Build and release automation experience (CICD) preferred
- Normal office environment subject to stressful situations
- Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours including weekends/holidays, occasional overtime may be required
- Limited travel may be required to support business needs
