SUMMARY
We are willing to relocate the right candidate to Austin for this position. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CPA/Senior Accountant to join our company. This person will lead the accounting and finance team while being one of five upper management positions improving operational efficiency and setting company direction. Key responsibilities of this position include Netsuite accounting operations and analytics, financial control and reporting, and recommending cost saving opportunities and implementing solutions. A team of three will report to you and you'll report to the CEO. We are looking for the type of person who can help us grow while improving and streamlining systems and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain adequate Netsuite ERP knowledge and systems maintenance.
Ensure proper use of Netsuite by small team of finance users.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting around month end close.
Maintain sales tax payments to all active states.
Responsible for on-time completion of monthly closing, monthly financial reporting, and inventory reconciliations.
Serve as leader to our Finance team
Work cross functionally with our CEO on all aspects of finance strategy and operations
Manage a small team of finance professionals
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, or related experience. Master's degree preferred.
CPA Required.
2+ years experience using Netsuite ERP daily
5+ years of accounting & analytical experience providing actionable information to senior management
3+ years CPA/Senior Accountant experience
Superior ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize projects
Advanced excel skills including familiarity and proven experience in the areas of advanced formulas and PivotTables is preferred
Prior experience leading team preferred.
