We are an established national event staffing agency with an immediate opening for a full-time Staffing Coordinator at our Austin, Texas location.
We specialize in providing the best hospitality professionals in the market to a diverse client base. The person in this position will coordinate staffing for large catering events, corporate meetings & conventions and more. We work with everyone from local caterers to large corporate clients and private individuals.
Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Staffing Coordinator, your main role will be to provide support to the account management team. This position includes recruiting, data entry, calendar and timeline management, and staff engagement.
Daily Responsibilities:
Assist account managers with with upkeep of job calendar
Data entry and use of online booking platform used to alert, select and confirm staff for current projects
Recruit staff for upcoming projects through online posting, outreach, social media and more
Maintain records of staff performance and skills
Requirements:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft office required (specifically Word and Excel)
Experience hiring and managing staff is preferred, but not required
Experience in the hospitality industry or the event industry is highly preferred
Schedule: Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Some after hours and weekend work will be required.
Pay: Salary DOE. Benefits offered after 90 days.
