Bright Kids is looking for a highly qualified Assistant Teacher for our (2 -3 years olds) classroom. We are looking for a reliable person able to work from 12:00 to 6:30pm with an opportunity to work full time if the applicant meets the expectations required.
We are a small family owned center. We provide a caring and loving enviormanet for our families and staff members. Our currently staff has been working together for the last past 2 years so we have created an environment that is hard to find anywhere else.
We offer more than 15+ paid holidays per year, vacation, sick time and a professional and positive working atmosphere.
Teacher Qualifications:
- A highly qualified candidate will have at least 1 year as a Teacher (Assistant or Lead) in a licensed child care center with a positive and upbeat attitude, excellent strong communication skills and a lot of patience.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for this age group
- Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
- Strong work ethic
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Professional conduct
- Communicate well with parents
- High school diploma or GED/CPR/First Aid certifications/background check/fingerprints required
