We are a 34-year old commercial construction company with an office in Georgetown (close to the airport) and have an immediate opening for a full time Construction Estimator. The position Starts at $15.00 and increased after you pass a 90 day probationary period. Our headquarters is in Dallas, TX and our office hours are Monday – Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday’s 8:30am to 4pm. We also offer full medical/dental & vision benefits, along with paid vacation/sick time, holiday’s, overtime and 401k Plan.
We are looking for someone with the following skill set:
If you have a truck, that would be very helpful
Looking for a very detail oriented and highly organized person.
Estimating experience helpful but not necessary.
Construction experience working for a subcontractor would be beneficial but not necessary.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients and ability to generate business.
Able to read blue prints is helpful, but if no experience, will teach you
Sales/Project management experience preferred but not necessary
If you have a OSHA 30 or 10 hour certificate, it is helpful, but not necessary
If you have handyman skills to trouble shoot issues at jobsites, this would be helpful but not necessary
Able to concentrate on computer screen for extended hours without being micro-managed
Ability to Project Manage a job and interact both verbally and in writing in a very detailed professional & organized manner
Microsoft office proficient.
