Engineering Program Manager

Environmental product compliance team at leading consumer products company seeking EPM.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage program feature baseline, scheduling, critical path, and technology risks areas for execution

Grasp complex technical matters or abstract issues and present them in an actionable form

Identify and highlight risk areas and mitigation strategies making sure the right people are involved. Resolve roadblocks for the team

Cross-functionally communicate at a senior level key developments and updates

Required:

Must have experience in electronics supply chains and product lifecycle management (BOMs, AMLS).

10+ years of industry experience taking products (preferably portable consumer electronics devices) all the way from concept design and architecture definition, through execution, including engineering development and validation to ramping and shipping

Excellent communication skills verbally and written

Leadership skills and ability to inspire team members

Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty

Strong technical background

Well-versed in setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures

Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, capable of identifying risk early in the project.

Desired:

A background in environmental product compliance management would be a huge plus, but not required
