Senior Data Platform Engineer/ArchitectDuration: 1 Year with extension to 2 yearsLocation: Round Rock, TX 100% on siteInterview Process: 1st review, 2nd round technical interview, 3rd round HM interview

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to perform various tasks

from end-2-end including Data Ingestion, Data Integration, Data Lake Platforms and Reporting tools. Must be responsible for

all database standards, platform use cases and best practices for

Data Lake Platforms including

MPP clusters, Relational, in-memory as well as

NoSQL databases.

15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8+ years’ experienceSystems/Software Proficiencies:

Massive Parallel Processing technologies including Teradata, Snowflake, Greenplum, Hadoop, Azure. o Experience in cloud data engineering and data processing services in

Azure, Snowflake, AWS or any other cloud platformso Experience in

MPP data technologies like Teradata, Snowflake, Greenplum, Hadoop, Spark, Data Brickso Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.o Have in depth knowledge from

Linux Operating Systems to Application processes.o Technical expertise in

data storage structures, data mining, and data cleaning.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:o Create and main robust and resilient Data Platforms, ETL pipelines to process massive daily volume of data.o Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleaning.o Experience in cloud data engineering and data processing services in Azure, Snowflake, AWS or any other cloud platforms.o Experience in MPP data technologies like Teradata, Snowflake, Greenplum, Hadoop, Spark, Data Bricks.o Good understanding of Data Ingestion tools and data modelling.o Experiences with data processing pipelines and data governance.o Experience in data protection and security policies.o Have a strong attention to detail and is entrusted with providing internal and external consultative expertise, accurately documenting requirements, and defining acceptance criteria for the project.o Ability to troubleshoot technical e-2-e issues and drive towards the resolution.o Have in depth knowledge from Linux Operating Systems to Application processes.o Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.o Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.o Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
