The Account & Relationship Sales Executive is responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships in the higher education arena, selling to the nursing academics arena. A high level of satisfaction with decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts. Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for large key accounts. Maintains post-sales contact with large or strategic clients in order to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship. Communicates with customers with regards to any account problems and discusses customer concerns and suggestions. Focuses efforts on product feedback, enhancement, upgrades, and development. Reports suggestions to and develops solutions with sales, order processing, and customer support team.This position is remote located in the San Antonio or Austin TX territory. A company car is provided.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales objectives via prospecting and account managementDevelop sales strategy for prospects and assigned accounts and successfully manage deals through the sales cycleCommunicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discuss customer concerns and suggestionsNegotiate service/product terms with customers in line with guidelinesReport suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer support teamMay handle add-on sales for clientsKey RequirementsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience3+ years working in Account Management or Sales or other equivalent experienceSolid understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industryExcellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skillsAbility to manage own territory/account and monitor resources accordinglyThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
