The Crypto Services Team here at Apple is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join it's new and growing Application Engineering Team. If you are a keen problem solver who loves to work on a broad spectrum of challenges then this could be the role for you! In this role you will provide frontline support for the team. You will need to monitor communication channels, screen questions, point users to the correct documentation or application to help them, and when needed engage with the correct team members in Crypto Services to fix the issue for the user. Lastly, as part of this role you will aid the Application Engineering Team in collecting metrics on types of issues users face and make suggestions on possible ways to help them avoid it.

Key Skills

Experience in developing, deploying, and supporting applications written in Java
Understand security concepts to build reliable and safe distributed applications
Proven understanding of how a PKI system works
Creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Experience of supporting an application from either a SRE or other customer or user support role
