preferred skills - Big data engineering and Hadoop ecosystem Spark, spark-sql, pyspark Familiarity in SQL and database concepts. Ability to read and understand moderately complex SQL. Ability to write data extraction SQL including basic selection, projection, joins and simple subqueries. Experience developing in and for Linux environments. Ability to develop code and data files; investigate processing errors/logs Additional preferred skills - Experience in coding in java or scala or python or shell Ability to coordinate and work with multiple teams in different geographical locations Experiance in streaming/kafka, unstructured data storage, working knowledge in GIT, splunk, maven Understanding of SDLC, agile etc Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions Understanding of different file formats like ORC, parquet, json, avro etc CSAEFONG @ SISINC.
