We make SAM a GREAT place to work, but it all starts with YOU!The contract administrator will serve as the liaison between the company, project managers and business development personnel and clients as the main facilitator for negotiations, recommendations, record keeping, monitoring, change management, etc. for professional services prime and subcontract opportunities of a national surveying, geospatial and construction phase services firm.
Prepare and/or review contracts
Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners
Review and update existing contracts
Manage professional fee increases per contract terms
Explain terms and conditions to internal parties
Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
Coordinate with legal department as needed
Create and maintain Contract Lifecycle Management Platform
Coordinate with business leaders
Experience in or understanding of the AEC industry, a must
Prover work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or relevant role
Comprehensive understanding and experience, both in practice and theory, of the key concepts and legal provisions of contracts
Familiarity with accounting procedures
Excellent communication and writing skills
Keen attention to detail, with ability to spot errors
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including executives, staff, managers and external partners/clients
BS degree in Business Administration and/or Paralegal a plus
