Role: Database SRE Location: Austin, TX (Day1 Onsite) Additional Comments: aria-hidden="true" Looking for a Database Engineer who can play an SRE role for Database DevOps . aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Roles & Responsibilities: aria-hidden="true" Minor automation enhancements, code changes to current Infrastructure as code setup aria-hidden="true" Support the current Infrastructure as code database automation framework, troubleshoot code issues and resolve them aria-hidden="true" Raise & Review pull requests, test them, get them approved and perform deployment in AWS Cloud aria-hidden="true" Perform weekly Infrastructure code releases & deployment as well as maintain the current database infrastructure environment in AWS cloud aria-hidden="true" Learn and implement industry best practices for Database Devops implementations aria-hidden="true" Learn, maintain & implement AWS cloud native service & respective features aria-hidden="true" Performance analyze the environment and identify bottlenecks if any with end to end Root Cause Analysis for issues aria-hidden="true" Performing Technical POCs with new diverse technologies like Graph DBs, GraphQL, Data visualization tools like Splunk, Tableau, Grafana etc. aria-hidden="true" Out of the box thinking on automating areas that are manual, recurring and repetitive aria-hidden="true" Perform effective communication with the team over collaborative tools like Slack, write descriptive emails and present to the team aria-hidden="true" Note: Candidate is expected to have AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification or else get certified within 3 weeks after joining. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Technical Skill Set required: aria-hidden="true" AWS Solutions Architect (certification prerferred) having minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working on AWS services mentioned below: aria-hidden="true" EC2 - Security groups, AutoScaling Groups aria-hidden="true" IAM - Roles & Policies aria-hidden="true" S3 aria-hidden="true" Route53 aria-hidden="true" EBS aria-hidden="true" KMS Key aria-hidden="true" Cloudformation aria-hidden="true" RDS or any other native AWS database service aria-hidden="true" Python coding experience of 2-3 years or more aria-hidden="true" Knowledge writing SQL queries aria-hidden="true" Basic Unix/Shell commands knowledge aria-hidden="true" Hands on experience with Version control - github aria-hidden="true" Hands on experience writing Ansible playbooks aria-hidden="true" Experience with Data Visualization & Dash-boarding tools like: Tableau, Splunk is a huge plus aria-hidden="true" Experience working with either Ansible, Java, GoLang, Groovy or similar language is a plus
