Job Description

At Veeam, we are in search of a Director Product Marketing Manager to drive our overall Veeam Platform story focused on the Enterprise and upper commercial markets, including Account Based Marketing (ABM) and the overall go to market strategy. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping Veeam’s overall messaging and positioning, turning individual product level messaging into cohesive platform and use case level stories, and lead the go to market strategy for Veeam’s expansion into the enterprise space including both Executive and Technical decision makers. In this role you will lead a team and partner closely with our Product leaders, Sales leaders, Technical Evangelists and Brand and Campaigns teams.

  • Develop product positioning that differentiates Veeam by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces for growing the enterprise base
  • Plan and execute product/feature launches across cross-functional teams (spanning Product Management, Marketing, Support, Service, Sales, Channels) and related sales enablement
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand & support ongoing enablement, and maximize impact of messaging for the enterprise audience
  • Build “first and best” content in the forms of presentations, battle cards, white papers, and Messaging and positioning that will be used by sales (direct and channel) for positioning Veeam to prospects and existing customers
  • Develop messaging, positioning, sales and customer facing collateral for the Veeam Platform in coordination with your peers in the PMM and Product teams
  • Develop and own GTM strategy for the enterprise and upper commercial audience, including both executive and technical decision makers
  • Strong collaboration with your campaigns counterpart of an integrated marketing plan that drives pipeline and bookingsfor the enterprise using ABM
  • Lead a team of marketers focusing on various Vertical markets, Security, Research initiatives and overall enablement around thought leadership
  • Own Vertical specific content for Financials, Healthcare, Retail and other strategic efforts worldwide

Qualifications

  • 10+ yearsproduct marketing experience in the Enterprise B2B space
  • Passionate storytellerwho can articulate both verbally and in writing a compelling vision
  • Strong technical acumenwith ability to quickly synthesize technical content into ‘positioning’ for non-technical audiences and craft messaging that connects with both internal stakeholders and customers
  • Self Starterwho can identify gaps and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and energetically pursue them to completion
  • Driven Leaderwho is comfortable in a start-up like environment and who can operate independently to build out new programs and initiatives for an emerging segment
  • Team player with Customer-first mentalitywho can work across an organization to build a plan, get alignment and execute it
  • Remote:Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, highly-effective global team with willingness to travel up to 15%
