Skills Required
  • Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
  • Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and modern ES6 syntax and features
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
  • Experience utilizing continuous integration and deployment tools (i.e. Jenkins)
  • Proficiency with modern development tools, like Babel, Webpack, and Git
  • Highly proficient with

    Vue.js or

    ReactJS framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
  • Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router (or similar ReactJS equivalents)
  • Experience with back-end JavaScript technologies/frameworks, including

    Node.js, Express
  • Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Good understanding of SQL / No SQL databases and writing complex queries
  • Experience in building / deploying the applications to Cloud Platforms / Kubernetes
  • Able to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • Great teammate with a positive attitude, strong sense of empathy with the ability to make high quality decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
  • Experience working with and managing offshore and onshore teams on multiple projects/tasks as needed

Key Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Full Stack development experience
  • 5+ years of supporting highly available critical applications
  • Ability to take a project from the requirements phase through the launch of the project
  • Knowledge & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding best practices, code reviews, SCM, build processes, testing, operations and support
  • Strong teamwork desire and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze someone else’s code and assume ownership
  • Source control management such as Git, SVN
  • Understand CI/CD practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities
  • Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of format
