Job DescriptionThe primary focus of an Internet Sales representative is to sell solutions and services to existing Oracle customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Works under close supervision. Seeks intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines. Two or more years of high tech sales experience. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently. Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to small-and-medium sized accounts. The role is a combination of a Field Sales Rep and Inside Sales Rep.

Responsible for self-generating leads and using inbound and outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities within a territory.

Participate in the creation, presentation, and sale of a complete value proposition via the telephone, internet, and in-person customer meetings.

Deliver presentations to C-Levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals.

Work to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory.

Territory may be combination of geographic, product, industry, and other customer / market dimensions.

Utilize inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities.

Manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in business development, consulting, and support to uncover all customer needs.

Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.

Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing sales.

Complete own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.

Potential travel to customer sites to identify and develop sales opportunities.

About You:You have 2+ years of relevant sales experiencemanaging accounts through the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and building/maintain a book of business.

You are a regular on your company’s top producer’s list and have the stats to back it up.

You are known for your tremendous work ethic, laser focus, passion, and innovative problem-solving skills.

You are a “hunter” and comfortable making 40-50 cold calls per day.

You have outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.

You have successful sales track record.

You have Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors.

You have experience interacting with C level players.

You are a team player.

You have the ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts.

You have excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills.

You have strong marketing skills.

You are open to travels to customer as needed.

BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
