Title: IVR Developer with Javascript Location: Austin, TX or San Jose, CA Duration: Contract Job Description:

8 + years of experience with software engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in IVR Call flow development.
Must have hands-on development experience using either Java or any object-oriented languages
Must have knowledge in JavaScript fundamentals & syntax and ready to work on the scripting language ( No UI skills required) - The candidate is expected to do code tests in JavaScript and/or Java during the assessment process.
Strong hands-on technologies like VXML, UML, State Diagram, JSON, SQL
At least conceptual knowledge in state-machine is expected (can read from YouTube or learning site before attending the technical interview, refer below for learning links)
Working experience on Tools like Eclipse, Papyrus with Unix/Linux OS
Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting skill
Experience in test-driven development
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like perforce, Git
Agile-Scrum knowledge is required
Excellent communication, client interaction and stakeholder interaction are must
Strong understanding of Natural Language design and Directed Dialogue design techniques for speech applications (preferred)
