Kubernetes DevOps Engineer -This position needs someone with strong experience in designing, implementing and managing containerization, continuous integration, continuous deployment and release management for Production grade Kubernetes clusters preferred AWS EKS.Suitable candidate should be able to understand current CI/CD, release management process on on-premise and implement similar or more advance solution in Cloud using Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker and Helm.Requirements are given below -Hands-on experience with provisioning, maintaining, deploying Kubernetes clusters in production environments, preferably AWS EKS.Experience with deploying and upgrading mission critical applications on Kubernetes clusters.Must have deep understanding of Kubernetes and Docker architecture and associated toolsHands-on experience with provisioning and managing AWS services such as EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, VPC etc using IAC tools Terraform or Cloud formation.Working knowledge of Linux shells/internals and containerizing workloads, docker preferred.Experience in migrating applications from On-premise bare metal to AWS EKS.Must be able develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment systems using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker and Helm.Establish best practices and design patterns supporting Cloud deployment using containerization, continuous integration, test automation and continuous delivery.Provide hands on assistance to maintain and advance the build process to ensure reliability and optimum integration with CI/CD and Release Management.Provide architecture and design recommendations on continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment capabilities across all software engineering efforts.Must have knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, and agile methodologies.Develop strategies and provide guidance to support containerized software development.Ability to debug issues with Kubernetes clusters and complex applications hosted on k8s.Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / Developer (CKD)AWS certification preferred.Vacancy expired!
