Lead O365 Administrator

Position: O365 Administrator

Location: Austin, TX 78731 (Currently Remote)

Contract Duration: 1 year + possible extensions

Worker will perform these Tasks:
  • Administer directory services security policies, standards, and procedures in coordination with TxDOT Security and Information Security Service Component Provider
  • Administer Federation Services within the Directory services environment (currently Active Directory Federation Services), other Federated services, and similar applications
  • Interface with Service Provider support as needed, including opening tickets with TxDOT Vendors when support is needed
  • Participate in the annual review of machine plans and workload forecasts with TxDOT (the Service Provider shall include long-range technology forecasts and technology refresh planning in this capacity planning process to ensure that TxDOT will realize the full benefits of technology and performance trends)
  • Advise (or manage) any upgrade or configuration change of O365 tenant
  • Test new versions of machines, operating system, and software prior to recommending the implementation of these products for TxDOT
  • Work with and provide input on solutions from TxDOT and DCS Solution Architects
  • Provide O365 support for all TxDOT
  • Work with Applications tower to implement any applications changes and upgrades
  • Manage ticket queues as appropriate.
  • Create / Advise on workflow and linked processes.
  • Participate on call rotation
  • Manage the Teams service and escalations
  • Manage the InTune service and escalations
  • Manage eDiscovery queue escalations
  • Manage PowerBI service and escalations
  • Assist in audit processes
  • Ability to work with Multiple vendors

REQUIRED SKILLS

:
  • 3 years of managing O365 tenant.
  • 3 years managing windows Server
  • 1 year of Azure AD
  • Experience managing Microsoft Teams as lead.

Preferred (Optional):
  • 5 years of managing Active Directory
  • 2 years of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement exposure
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow / Ticketing System
  • Managing Microsoft InTune Services
  • Ability to follow complex workflow Processes
