Job Duties:Implement software code in an Agile, test-driven software development environment. Participate in software architecture and framework extensions and the development of related services and components. Scope software development efforts and provide reliable estimates. Conduct software performance and scalability analysis. Create technical designs for software application features and associated documentation. Analyze and debug computer code.

What to expect in this role:
  • Full-Time, Permanent (not contract)
  • Maintain the Elead University Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Report to Development Manager
  • Receive work/priorities from Elead University Director of Learning & Delivery
  • Design, develop code, enhance, test, debug, and implement Elead University LMS software, including but not limited to:
    • Build the ability to upload and categorize videos, view videos, track video usage and views, and access reporting metrics of videos.
    • Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing Elead University LMS software.
    • Build and enhance reporting functionality
  • Integrate other applications with our LMS
  • Maintain access to Elead University LMS source code and the database
  • Troubleshoot and address technical issues
  • Provide a timely response to questions throughout the development phase.
  • Research, test, build and coordinates the conversion or integration of new products based on requirements.
  • Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • This positionis responsible for coding and architecture of several University LMS projects.
  • Provide training to other internal employees on the use of developed software systems.
  • Desire to write clean, correct and efficient code. Code to acceptance criteria.
  • Perform unit, functional, end-to-end, acceptance and system testing.
  • Troubleshoot and solve production problems related to software applications.
  • Consult with project teams and end-users to identify application requirements.
  • Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools.
  • Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Conduct code reviews.
  • Present work done to team members and wider organization.
  • May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area or six (6) years related work experience

Work Experience:Three (3)years of experience must include:
  • Writing .NET enterprise applications
  • HTML and general knowledge of XML and markup format, XML-based Web Services / WCF and T-SQL, CSS, .NET MVC, JSON Schema, various JavaScript frameworks (React/Redux, AngularJS, etc.) and SASS
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge and hands-on programming experience in C#
  • Senior-level web app experience needing minimal assistance from others on the team

  • Ability to read and write proficiently as well as interact and speak effectively using the English language in interpersonal situations and before groups of people.

Preferred skills:
  • Possess a developing knowledge of how Elead software applications are used in dealerships
  • Further your understanding and learning of dealership operations and our Industry.
  • Experience and knowledge using Jira
  • Experience developing/implementing LMS applications (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Blackboard, Cornerstone, Northpass, Pluralsight, in-house LMS, etc.)
