Description: BASIC FUNCTION:This position is responsible for conducting network adequacy monitoring, coordinating the delivery of state Department of Insurance network adequacy reporting, and will facilitate the department's response to state Department of Insurance questions related to network adequacy. This position is also responsible for maintenance of department policies and procedures, which includes monitoring federal, state and other applicable rules and regulations. Position will lead departmental efforts to document and demonstrate compliance with NCQA network standards.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor Degree OR 4 years of health care administration or managed care experience.Plus 3 years experience with health care products or claims administration in a physician office, hospital or health care environment.PC proficiency including Microsoft Office applications and health care database systems. Experience meeting deadlines and working well under pressure.Presentation skills to facilitate meetings and develop/facilitate training.Verbal and written communications skills to respond to Department of Insurance inquiries and work across departments in the research and development of responses. Analytical skills and skills to review data to identify areas for improvement.
