- Candidate should have strong networking experience in Managing Network Firewalls like Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Firewall, Juniper SRX Firewalls.
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Experience in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies.
- Experience in DHCP/DNS and wireless management.
- Familiarity with all Cisco Nexus switches/gateways (like 5Ks 7Ks) and Catalyst Switches.
- Familiarity with Arista switches/gateways.
- Experience in Python scripting to implement network changes.
- Create, Manage and modify ACL templates for Datacenter.
- Build standard Infra ACL templates for different environments ( ex - Linux, AIX, DB)
- Update any new changes requested by Infra teams.
- Add Permit rules based on customer requirement on Network switches or on Firewalls or both. ( Platform -: NexArista/IOS/ASA/Palo-Alto )
- Troubleshoot any Network ACL related issues
- ACL Optimisation by removing shadow or stale ACL's
- ACL removals when hosts/subnets are decommissioned
- TCAM or Firewall memory optimisations
- Migrate ACL's from one Firewall to another ( with different platform )
- Move ACL's from stateless to Firewall
- Knowledge of UDP return traffic in case of DHCP/DNS in stateless platforms.
