Responsibilities:- The candidate will support the project during all phases as well as liaise between all areas, stakeholders, Provide support to DPS Director of CAPPS Financials.
- Provide coordination of efforts, including, but not limited to all phases of the project, assist with Fit Gap, UAT, and Training; as well as follow up support during post-implementation.
- Coordinating the necessary functional and technical resources when collaboration is required.
- Teaching and mentoring agency staff in production reporting duties and best practices.
- Working with business customers to gather requirements for report development.
- Developing Business Objects reports based on functional specifications for a group or organization.
- Responsible for capturing business requirements to meet DPS s reporting needs.
- Responsible for consistent use of project standardized processes and forms, including but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, Key Design Decisions, Change Controls, Risk and Issue log, Scope Documentation, Configuration Documentation, Business Process Flows, and other project documents as needed.
- Adhering to software development processes
- Provide input to project management to estimate the level of effort.
- Prepare detailed documentation.
- Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed.
- Must be able to work with the Data Warehouse, PeopleSoft, and Agency teams to ensure reports comply with the standards and all data modeling artifacts are prepared accurately in a timely fashion.
- Must also be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.
- 8 years Required Reporting Experience with Business Intelligence Report Writing best practices.
- 8 years Required Reporting Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement.
- 8 years Required Reporting Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms.
- 8 years Required Reporting Experience with PeopleSoft.
- 5 years Preferred Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- 5 years Preferred Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government).
- 5 years Preferred Experience in process or systems analysis work on any one or combination of the following PeopleSoft modules: general ledger/commitment control, purchasing/e-procurement, accounts payable, inventory, asset management, grant accounting.
- 5 years Preferred PeopleSoft Financials modules implementation or post-go live experience with an emphasis on reporting activities.
- Bachelor s degree in relevant field.
