If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for strong Post-Silicon Bringup/Validation Engineers to join our world-class microprocessor development team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our next-generation processor designs used in our Power systems meet IBM's high standards of quality and reliability. You will team closely with an experienced team of engineers spanning architecture, microarchitecture, logic implementation, and verification/validation to guarantee the functional quality of our leading-edge designs, using state-of-the-art techniques to verify the design of these custom microprocessor-based systems. Both hardware and software engineering skills are necessary in creating these complex, development environments.Above all, we are looking for applicants who will thrive in an open, vibrant, flexible, fun-spirited, collaborative environment and desire creative freedom and an opportunity to work on high performing teams!Job Duties:Executing on testplans in a post silicon lab environment. Testcase, Exerciser development, execution of these and lots of debug and interaction with team to get to solutions. You would also be involved in testplan creation, but this is not a project management or planning position in any way. We need highly technical people who can execute in a microprocessor environment.About the TeamYou will be working with a world class microprocessor development team. Based in Austin, TX, but with team members also located in several other US sites, and worldwide. This is a highly skilled team, and we need skilled people who can ramp up very quickly.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseA minimum of 3 years of experience in microprocessor design, specifically in RTL design, or processor hardware validation

A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and executing detailed Post-Silicon Validation plans that meet functional coverage requirements

Demonstrated recent experience in microprocessor verification and/or validation

Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExposure to PowerPC architecture
