POWER BI & DATA VISUALIZATION DEVELOPER POSITION SUMMARY The Power BI developer will be responsible for designing and building reports and dashboards for a large program. This role will need a combination of a variety of data mining, data modeling, business analysis and visualization skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and creative thinker with the ability to understand business needs and problems and apply data assets and analysis that can help solve them. The role requires proficiency in all areas of the data life cycle: data governance, collection, integration with existing assets, analysis and data visualization for senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, motivated individual who combines strong data and analytics skills with business and technology. This role will work with staff within the PMO and partner with other program and project managers. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Power BI - The ability to easily create reporting that will visually guide end users to the questions they are looking to answer. There will be a strong emphasis here on the performance of DAX formulas to increase the performance of the existing dashboard as well as the development of several new dashboards in the queue.
• SQL The ability to create or add to existing stored procedures and troubleshoot any unforeseen issues.
• Light data extraction / manipulation ETL experience moving a variety of data, in various formats, from different source systems into single uniform location.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities (i.e. time management and organizational skills).
• Work with business leaders, program and project managers and senior leaders to build a wide variety of causes from recommendation engine to cross sell and upsell.
• Agile: Need to work in a sprint-by-sprint fashion and build progressively, embracing the concept of MVP and backlogs.
• Understand and interpret unique requirements and provides solutions to integrate content from various sources into Power BI solution

• Participate in calls and prepares prototypes to seek clarifications
• Prepare the list of requirements and seek review inputs from the key stakeholders
• Improving navigation and visualizations
• Explore options for exporting, automation and printing capabilities
• Enhance reports to include dependencies, decisions, key metrics, changes
• Dashboards and additional analytics
• Explore integrated (and automated) reporting with financials
• Develop solution to create consumable (attachments) reports from Power BI

• Minimum 6 Years work experience in the IT industry within a large technology team
• Strong knowledge on MS Power BI tool along with profound knowledge on query writing
• Strong systems skills especially in implementation, maintenance, enhancement and documentation
• Proficiency in various office applications including Excel VBA Macros, Word, PowerPoint
• Good understanding of Data warehouse and Data Lake
• Must be organized, detail oriented and able to efficiently function under pressure and be able develop and present analysis and recommendations in a clear concise manner to various staff levels in the organization
• SQL Server / relational data / writing efficient Stored Procedures / etc.
• Understanding / Experience working with large data sets
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design Patterns
