Title: Project Manager
Description:Luna Data Solutions is currently searching for a Project Manager to take ownership of large complex problems or efforts and drive them to successful outcomes with a high value placed on cross-team collaboration, customer satisfaction and improving IT operations. Must have experience taking a proactive approach, able to collaborate with others, comfortable with uncertainty and needing to find answers. Demonstrated professional experience working in Service Management / Organization Change Management but not in details as a Change Manager or Incident Manager. Generally looking for someone who understands this space (general Service Management and Service Governance) but has led / coordinated across functional areas.Responsibilities:- Good communicator, comfortable with executive communication and knows how to communicate with execs without creating undue alarm or confusion
- Flexible, adaptable – we are in an environment where we are needing to iteratively plan and move forward to implement new processes, governance, and partnerships
- Develop and manage accurate plans that contemplate resources and dependencies across teams
- Identify the need for new services, processes, team capabilities, etc. and identify plan, execute andimplement.
- Assist in negotiating mutually satisfactory solutions to cross-team needs or problems
- Establish and identify mechanisms for partnering with internal, external partners, and all teams within IT
- Assist in the establishment of effective committees designed to efficiently make decisions or serve inadvisory roles to the team
- Partner with internal IT Transformation Program Office and IT Towers to ensure continuous alignment for the life of the program.
- Provide coordination and support for various governance and advisory groups
- Review and provide feedback on project deliverables and collateral.
- 5 yrs. Familiar with standards, concepts, practices, and procedures of project management
- 3 yrs. Experience working in large transformation projects (information systems, systemintegration or other large projects).
- 3 yrs. Experience working with Quality Assurance efforts
- 2 yrs. Experience executing communication, dashboards, and various change managementactivities
- 2 yrs. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and contribute in situations where incompleteinformation is available
- 2 yrs. Demonstrated ability to be a positive, contributing, and desired member of a team oreffort
- 2 yrs. Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 2+ yrs. Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL practices
- 3+ yrs. Information systems, system integration or project delivery experience.
- 1 yr. Experience working with external vendors and/or Quality Assurance efforts a plus
- 1 yr. Experience entering a project that is already in progress and demonstrating ability toeffectively assume responsibilities quickly
- Austin Tx. – If resource resides within the Austin area the current requirement is to be on-site once a week. Working remotely is accepted but being on-site occasionally for meetings may be required.
