QA Engineer Austin or Foster City, CA Job Description: As a member of the Client Engineering team, the Systems Analyst - Reporting will report to the QA Manager and will be responsible for generating daily reports and coordinate efforts for all Endpoint vulnerability management tasks. Essential Functions:
- Create different reports according to guidelines while suggesting improvements to style, formatting, use, and technical requirements
- Map large amount of data across multiple systems to drive analysis and decision making
- Validate reports to ensure accuracy and quality
- Gather requirements and generate wireframes for future reporting needs
- Create exceptions ahead of time to be compliant with all security requirements
- Run predefined automation scripts to generate tickets and Incidents to drive resolution of vulnerabilities
- Communicate with cross functional teams to understand the reporting needs
- Solve problems and work on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in data analytics and reporting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, analysis, and scenario modeling
- Complex problem-solving skills and ability to work with large amounts of data. Ability to use data to produce insights and recommendations.
- Experience data profiling, business process modeling, or system analysis a plus.
- Intermediate experience working with creating reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and sustain a high level of performance when scrutinized. Proactive thinking with a 'can do' attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with management, IT and Business partners
- Self-motivated with the ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
- Experience with one of the scripting languages (VB scripting, PowerShell) optional but preferred
