Highlights:

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you have a proven technical background and an aptitude to learn new technologies at the systems level. Using your technical project management experience, you plan and manage the delivery of complex advanced engineering projects with multiple touchpoints. You collaborate with teams across the organization and third-party vendors while adjusting the scope, timing and budget to meet the needs of the business. You work with other teams within an office environment and present your projects to leaders at the executive level as needed. You report to the Director of Program Management for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
  • Drive company-wide excellence through active and consistent support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
  • Guide the completion of projects by developing various plans based on the business strategy and adapting to changing business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with technical and non-technical business partners inside and outside of the organization to assemble and manage overall project plans.
  • Ensure the integration of multiple groups by adjusting the scope, timing and budget as needed based on the needs of the business.
  • Engage, negotiate and guide business partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Re-direct teams when technical issues arise to create new or revised technical plans while working with Architects and Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve deeply technical issues.
  • Serve as the liaison between technical and non-technical teams by translating technical speech into an easy-to-understand format.
  • Mitigate risks by planning and managing end-to-end (E2E) testing within the advanced engineering department.
  • Achieve company goals by partnering with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities.

Required keys for success:
  • Seven or more years of telecommunications industry experience.
  • Seven or more years of project management experience.
  • Track record of implementing and managing large, complex, diverse and strategic projects independently with no supervision.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills across multiple priorities with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Expert in assessing risks and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating identified risks.
  • Proficient when making decisions and resolving issues while using sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties.
  • History of using out-of-the-box thinking to creatively resolve issues.
  • Experience developing strong working relationships with peers and project managers with the ability to navigate teams through grey areas.
  • Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Confident when documenting, preparing and facilitating data-driven presentations.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.

How you will stand out from the crowd:
  • Previous cable or MSO experience.
  • Familiar with video and advertising technology.
  • Experience with networking or wireless technology.

Your education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (required).
  • Project Management certification (required).
