Your Opportunity

The Sr. Scrum Master provides effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership and coaching skills supporting the agile development process and delivery of our applications. As an agile expert, the Sr. Scum Master will be responsible for enforcing the agile principals as interpreted by multiple teams, removing impediments, and promoting empowerment. This position requires technical understanding of software development and technology.

Colorado Compensation

Target Total Compensation - $101,400 - $165,400

What you are good at

  • Ensure that the Agile processes are fully executed.
  • Reporting status updates and metrics to senior leadership on the performance and efficiency of the team.
  • Facilitate risk management of the releases.
  • Work to define working agreements for the releases.
  • Support the Product manager when necessary.
  • Influences and partners with business to understand business strategy. Interacts on a regular basis with business leadership to ensure needs are understood and Technology updates are communicated on a consistent basis.
  • Possesses an excellent understanding of the business processes and strategy.
  • Translates business requirements into functional requirements; performs business process mapping.
  • Partners with Technology Teams to ensure user and functional requirements are understood.
  • Ensures Technology Project Management, Development, Testing, and Implementation activities are established per project with Technology Partners.
  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships across all levels within Technology organization and external suppliers.
  • Work with Business & Technology partners to devise new programs that support organization objective, strategy, and goals
  • Experience with the following technologies a plus: Java, REST, J2EE Frameworks

What you have

  • 5+ years as a Scrum Master/RTE
  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • Strong Jira skills
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills, ability to manage conflict
  • Experience with both Kanban and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in coaching and leading teams new to Agile
  • Must be an excellent team leader with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Understanding of software development skills: JAVA, .NET, SQL is preferable
  • Experience with teams performing new development while simultaneously supporting production applications
  • Experience with communicating status and providing updates to executive level management
  • Experience with negotiating prioritization between Product Owners and Technical leadership
  • Experience working with agile methodology on large scale, technically complex projects for a large enterprise
  • Highly adaptable to a constantly changing environment
  • Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse and a geographically dispersed team
  • Must be self-motivated, as well as, creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
  • Must be collaborative in driving decisions and able to deal with all levels of management and stakeholders
