Job Description About the GM Global Manufacturing IT team: GM's Manufacturing IT team innovates and drives business value with systems that help GM deliver consistent messaging, transactions and services. The Manufacturing IT team is responsible for developing and delivering solutions leveraging a wide array of systems architectures and technical platforms. Our industry leading developers, engineers, testers and architects work closely with internal teams and dealers to deliver the world's best customer experience. In short, we're currently seeking the next generation of game-changers to help us usher in a new age of automotive IT innovation. Are you ready to rise to the challenge? About you:
- You have demonstrated success in software project delivery experience in leading technical efforts developing applications using a variety of tools, languages, frameworks and technologies
- Demonstrate mastery of many programming languages, tools and/or technologies
- Performance tuning, usability assessment/improvement
- Strong Knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems.
- You engage in the remediation of software issues related to code/solutions quality and/or security
- Possess technical writing knowledge around system design specification and user documentation of software systems and ensure that technical documentation meets GM standards
- Understand and maintain compliance with GM standards and industry standard methodology
- Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and builds a winning culture.
- Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of .NET and Object Oriented best practices
- Java and .NET platform development
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server data development (analysis and working inside Oracle environment)
- Experience as a full stack developer
