- The Snowflake Developer will be proficient in understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse. Responsibilities will also include technical delivery review, resolution of architecture issues and the migration of the existing on-premises application to AWS Snowflake platform.
- Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using Snap Logic against Snowflake.
- Minimum 4 year of designing and implementing a fully operational production grade large scale data solution on Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Excellent understanding of Snowflake Internals and integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting technologies.
- Experience with ingesting data into snowflake using Snap Logic and snow pipe.
- Expert knowledge of Snowflake concepts like Streams, Tasks, Snowpipes, Zero copy clone, time travel, query profiling, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing and experience using these features
- Ability to create & implement data engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, documentation, build processes, automated testing, and operations.
- Converting very complex T-SQL procedures into SnowSQL and optimize queries for good performance.
- Experience working with structured, semi- structured and unstructured data in snowflake.
- Experience with GIT.
- Coding proficiency in Python, Json.
- Experienced in developing applications in snowflake.
- Minimum 4 years of experience required
