Job Title : Sr. Performance Test EngineerLocation: Austin, TX / Dublin, CA. Hire Type: ContractExperience: 10 years over all JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEWThe Sr. Performance Engineer is responsible for ensuring end to end quality of the application from system and application performance standpoint. The purpose of the position is to maintain and support Customer’s critical business applications and certifying the performance of these applications for our Engineering and TechOps partners as part of their release process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES· Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements· Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes· Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities· Run and manage performance tests for infrastructure upgrades.· Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports· Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance· Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing Expert, train and mentor junior engineers.· Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests.· Monitor application logs to evaluate system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and collaborate with Development and other departments.· Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify application performance.· Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.· Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detail status reports and monitoring of all defects and issues.· Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.· Configure CI/CD for nightly performance tests, define SLAs and publish daily reports· Analyze and configure performance testing in cloud environments. EXPERIENCE: · Minimum 5 years’ experience in Performance Testing· Proficiency in LoadRunner Professional, Jmeter and Enterprise or Cloud· Experience with LoadRunner Truclient scripting will be an added advantage.· Proficiency with monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Nagios· Strong experience with analysis tools like HeapHero, YCrash· Advanced SQL / Queries knowledge· Experience with generating reports/graphs with open-source tools like Grafana· Proficiency in Java with excellent understanding of Object-oriented design and implementation in Java· Experience using tools such as Maven, Jenkins and GIT.· Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA, Stash, and Crucible.· Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript etc.Vacancy expired!
