What you are good at

Job Description Analyze problem domains and determine overall architecture for natural language machine processing solutions. Own the Machine Learning research and engineering efforts. Determine data type, format, and quantity requirements. Select appropriate regression and/or machine learning models to apply. Create and deliver working, scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions. Define Machine Learning architecture best practices and keep up to date with the evolving open source frameworks. Conduct feature engineering to improve model performance on key business metrics. Propose solutions for analyzing various datasets towards a given goal. Prototype algorithms in Python, R, or other high-level language. Gather, and analyze large scale data sets from multiple sources. You will be writing services exposing functionality and business logic using RESTful interfaces. You will be creating data pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources, perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations. Experience with building, breaking, and fixing production data pipelines. Experience with creating/using end to end ML workflow and platform for model deployment. Participate in discussions with other Data Scientists and Machine Learning engineers and document work for system designs, API specifications, work requirements and architectures. Present results to business and engineering teams with findings. Navigate and support Incident and Change Management processes with an end-to-end understanding of the system flows and technology landscape. Constantly update knowledge repository, and ensuring seamless availability and accessibility of information regarding in context of support related activities or issues. Drive and support cross-functional large-scale production releases and rollouts. Provide technical oversight for junior team members and interns on day-to-day activities.

What you have

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Technology Management or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Skills: Experience and/or education must include:

  • Hive, Pig, Spark, HBase, Hadoop, SQL Server, Oracle DB and/or Git (Github / Bitbucket);
  • CI/CD tools (Atlassian or equivalent);
  • Java, Python, Spark, R, SQL, Scala, Unix Shell;
  • On-premise to Cloud integration;
  • Project Management Methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
