Job Description:At a senior level, plans, designs and configures networks for company’s real-time controls environments including the Energy Management Systems (EMS), Substation Wide Area Network (SUBWAN), associated ancillary systems and servers. Designs network architecture, network infrastructure and network solutions. Maintains knowledge of and ensures compliance of NERC, FERC and ERCOT reliability standards, including NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Cybersecurity Standards. Maintains knowledge of and supports compliance with local, state, and federal reliability and cyber security standards. This position utilizes in-depth knowledge of best practices and experience in their own discipline to provide and improve services. Takes a new perspective to solve complex problems. Works independently and receives minimal guidance.

Required Experience:

9+ years of experience in a technical field, computer science, engineering or network systems
- A degree(s) in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, engineering, or relevant field may be substituted for certain years of experience.
4+ years Cybersecurity experience utilizing SIEM to monitor and set up alerts for security related events
4+ years Linux experience
Splunk Admin/Architecture Certified
