Red Oak Technology is seeking a
Systems Engineer - JAMF certified for our high tech giant client located in Austin, TX or Sacramento, CA for a long term Contract position. NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work within a commutable distance of your assigned Worksite Location.Responsibilities:- Manage end users devices across the company using Jamf 300.
- Responsible for high volume remote ticketing support for maintenance of service and various related project work.
- Contribute to the maintenance of Mobile Device Management (MDM) service
- Customization: Jamf Pro customizations and configurations, including systems integrations with other platforms and services.
- Testing: Test and validate developed app based on user stories and integration requirements.
- Production Implementation: Work in production environment using CR process
- Bachelors degree
- Requirement Analysis, Design Approach and creation of design documentation
- Jamf is required (at least 2 years is mandatory)
- MDM is required (at least 2 years is mandatory)
- JAMF 200 certification is required or at least the minimum JAMF/Casper certification.
- Exposure to IOS and MacOS
- System administration experience; primarily in UNIX systems such as Linux macOS
- Scripting experience, 1-2 years minimum with, at least one of the following: Bash, Python or Perl.
- Enterprise experience working with (MDM) Mobile Device Management
- Previous experience as a support specialist managing high volume of tickets on a daily and weekly basis.
- Work closely with Infosec and Security Engineers
- Unix / Linux OS System Administration
- Unix / Bash
- Unix Shell Scripting
