- Actively collaborate with technical artists and engineers, effectively implementing completed art assets
- Serve as liaison between art and engineering teams, facilitating seamless asset integration, and championing optimal performance and efficiency in a game's final visual assets
- Work to effectively solve any art related bugs or hitches arising during production
- Communicate with team members of varying disciplines, including written documentation of pipeline processes
- Provide support to the art team with troubleshooting and technical assistance
- Review creative process and identify efficiency improvements and new technology integrations, applying deep industry knowledge, and best practice ideas
- Collaborate with other departments on joint goals and deliverables, and successfully communicate with engineers, designer, and non-technical artists to efficiently package assets for quality products for the target platform
- 5-8 years' related job experience
- 3+ years of experience in games development with shipped titles
- Prior work experience with version control software, such as Perforce
- Advanced proficiency with CS6 skills, such as compositing, tiling, and Smart objects; ability to work with and recreate Graphic Styles and Symbols
- Clear understanding of Aftereffects CS6 with skills in animation and special FX, and Spine2D Animation tools and process
- Clear understanding of particle systems and animation processes
- Demonstrated experience with creating and using reusable CSS
- Technical background in developing scripts, Photoshop actions, and other automation tools necessary for art implementation and optimization desirable
