Busy mental health practice seeking an experienced, organized, and enthusiastic staff person to provide top notch customer service to our patients and help facilitate daily operations. Our office staff and professional providers love what we do and care about one another. We need someone who has the ability to adjust and adapt in a busy and dynamic practice environment, enjoys working with others, and has a genuine interest in helping others. Work hours will be 9:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide the highest level of customer service to patients, co-workers, and referral sources
Reception duties: greet patients, accept copays, and schedule patient appointments
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, faxes
Maintain medical records
Respect and maintain the privacy and dignity of patients and assure confidentiality
Complete other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
1 or more years of medical office experience, including with a multi-line phone system
Have a high school diploma (bachelor's degree preferred)
Be a "people person" who exudes sincerity, warmth, confidence, and professionalism
Demonstrate excellent oral and written skills
Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and the ability to quickly learn new Software
Highly attentive to detail and very well-organized
Excellent customer skills and a diligent work ethic
Ability to multi-task and adjust and adapt in a dynamic and busy environment
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to communicate openly and effectively with co-workers and supervisors
Non-smoker and health conscious
