Mature female, who uses a wheelchair needs help with personal care and home upkeep for four hours a morning. The days are Monday through Friday. CNA certification not required.
MAIN TASKS for which I need assistance are:
Bathing, shampooing, dressing
Positioning
Transferring to wheelchair
Cooking breakfast
Food prep - such as chopping vegetables when needed
Light cleaning
Going through mail
Running an occasional errand
This is a private residence and the environment is informal and casual. Looking for someone who is reliable, easy-going, able to follow instructions and physically fit (There is no lifting, just lot of movement involved). Looking for someone who is seeking a long term position. No experience necessary but is helpful, I will train you for my specific needs. I need someone who is punctual and dependable. Once I'm in the wheelchair, I am independent and active.
Hours Available:
Monday-through Friday mornings
7:30am to 11:30am
Back up hours are available.
Starting pay for personal care is $14 per hour. Raises are given after 3 months dependent upon a positive evaluation. The location is North Central close to Capital Plaza and Mueller shopping center.
