Hello, My name is Andrew, Im the owner of The Cut, and Im looking for my right-hand man, and crew helper (2 positions immediately available) for the 2024 lawn care season. This is an important position, and if you are the hardworking motivated type who works with focus, there is room for growth into the future as we aim our sights on growth into a 5 crew business from the current 1 crew.
We offer Cedar Park and Leander residents the best quality landscape maintenance services availible in the area. Most of this position will involve the following duties:
Arrival 7:45 am at HQ in Leander, rig and equipment prep for day's route, weed eating, mowing, blowing, attention to detail, property inspection, and driving a rig, truck and trailer. You will be trained by the owner and taught the ropes before ever going out solo or with helper.
Pay is the best in the industry, you will have a hard time finding someone that will treat you better doing lawn care. 20-25 depending on your ability. If you can run a crew without any help whatsoever without customer complaints you recieve top pay and potentially a salaried position. Bonuses are also normal whithin the business in show of appreciation for successful weeks with good performance. We are a small business and this means you get personal attention from the owner.
Position is required to be available full time 8 - 5 pm Mon-Fri. Slow weeks may cause less hours but you will make up for those on heavier weeks. Right now its early in the season so theres chance of ony 30-? hours to start.
Must be confident in weed eater abilities, must drive and have your own vehicle for transportation to meeting spots, be responsible, no addictions or drinking problems, both of our time will be wasted. This position can offer fast upgrade to a manager position. We will drug test and background check.
Please don't contact if you can't drive to work or if you don't have experience with weedeater enough to be decent on day one. You will also be required to ride a stand-on scag, and we work in a trade-off system (every other lawn edger man goes to mower, and vice versa) You wont be expected to use edger all day like other businesses with lazy bosses who want to ride all the time na ddo the easy stuff only.
