The Challenge Ahead:

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are volunteer led organizations that unite around a common affinity. They exist to create a sense of belonging by modeling inclusive behaviors, enhancing employee engagement and engaging different perspectives to create incredible experiences. ERGs execute events and programs that help increase diversity in games, create opportunities for employee development, expand community outreach, help attract talent, and overall make EA an inclusive place to work.

To support the execution of these programs, we are seeking a Program Manager, Employee Resource Groups. The role will report to the Director, Program Management - Inclusion, Diversity, Corporate Social Responsibility, with a dotted line responsibility to ERG Chairs. The role will also work closely with the Sr. D&I and CSR ERG Strategist, and will have the sole responsibility to support several ERGs in an administrative and program management capacity.

Core Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the administrative and operational aspects of running several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), day-to-day, globally. Unify processes and drive consistency across locations. Own membership administration and manage distribution lists, own large initiative program management, global event activations and budget planning in collaboration with the Board of Directors and the Global Co-Chairs.

Global events such as: Speaker Series, Heritage Month Events, Celebrity Appearances, etc.

Establish best practices for cross-ERG sharing and event coordination with ERG stakeholders. Own collation of quarterly newsletter items and own newsletter construction and publishing. Own EA World ERG content and curation. Lead moderator for ERG slack channel. Establishes strong working relationships with the Board members to coordinate and prioritize incoming regional support requests. Help the team focus on the critical few: filter issues based on a clear understanding of ERG objectives and Inclusion Diversity Corporate Social Responsibility strategies and objectives. Provide project status updates; provide resolution to project escalation between partner organizations where necessary. International and domestic travel as needed

Job Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of operations, program management and / or event planning experience desired. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience. Ability to develop and deliver project plans, risk mitigation plans and basic financial planning. Must possess situational awareness and partnership management capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication are a must, and the candidate must also possess strong emotional intelligence. Collaborative DNA, high level of communication, discussion and partnership in all directions is a must. Highly developed relationship building skills, as well as the ability to establish credibility and influence within EA. Must possess passion, energy, enthusiasm to drive results; highly action oriented and committed to inclusion & diversity. Excellent change management skills; comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments. Flexible and agile: ability to work in a matrixed setting and adapt quickly and be effective in a highly dynamic environment.
