We knock on doors in neighborhoods of Austin and other parts of Central Texas to educate and motivate people to TAKE ACTION for a safe and clean future. We do this by motivating citizens to join as members of Clean Water Action, elect green politicians, write letters, sign postcards, and make phone calls to elected officials. We also raise funds to continue the movement and fight dirty corporate money! Feel good about what you do and don't just talk about it, be about it!
Currently hiring part-time. We offer a flexible schedule of at least 3 days a week, 4 or 5 preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING AND FUNDRAISING
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Motivation to work on political and environmental campaigns
- Strong communication skills and confidence
FIELD CANVASS TEAM:
- 3:30-10:00 PM work hours. Monday - Thursday
2:30-9:00 PM Friday NEW early in early out schedule on Friday
COMPENSATION:
$12-$14+/HR, bonus & benefits like healthcare, dental, life insurance, and 401K. Accumulate sick and vacation pay over time.
